Sharing our successes, What good looks like

Celebrating our Highways Heroes

Congratulations to our colleagues Clive Hemmings, Regional Civil Engineering, Senior Site Agent, Reece Kazi, Regional Civil Engineering, Groundworker, Keith Batcheldor, Electrical Engineer, VVB who all received a personal impact medal at the Highways Heroes Awards ceremony, which was held at London Hilton on Park Lane on 28th November

The awards recognise individuals who have gone above and beyond, often without regard for their own personal wellbeing, to help others, improve situations in the communities they work in, or provide unconditional support to their teammates.

Keith was commended for his outstanding care and compassion after stepping up to support a colleague who became unwell whilst on their site. Their prompt and thoughtful actions ensured the colleague received the attention they needed during a challenging period.

Clive was recognised for his quick thinking when a car lost control and veered off the road during severe road flooding.  His swift actions helped prevent what could have been a serious accident. Lastly, Reece was commended for his quick actions when he noticed a member of the public who had fainted near his worksite.

Octavius Infrastructure are also proud to have supported Highways Hereos awards for the third year running and this year sponsored the lifetime achievement award.

Well done Keith, Reece and Clive!
