Our Framework Manager Jon Millar and Managing Quantity Surveyor Jamie Rafferty of our Highways team arranged and organised a charity football match between a team of Octavius’ finest and one of our suppliers, Environ who are are working with us on Clophill Roundabout. The event was held at Conroys Ringcraft Boxing Gym close to the project to raise much need funds for the club to support underprivileged children and young people in Bedford.
The players performed exceptionally well, resulting in an exciting 4-4 draw in the match! Additionally, there was an auction featuring a signed Paul Gascoigne football shirt and a wide array of raffle prizes. Thanks to their incredible dedication, the team was able to contribute a total of £10,271.63 to the charity.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for your support which will provide invaluable assistance to young children in need.
