A huge congratulations to our R&W southern team for going above and beyond to look after our lineside neighbours at Iford Road and Seafield Road in Bournemouth. Our team are currently carrying out works for BCP Council which includes installing a new zebra crossing, new kerbs street signs and road markings.
I live on Iford Lane, Tuckton (Bournemouth) and a gang of R&W workers are currently carrying out some raised table / junction reconfiguration works at Seafield Road / Ilford Lane.
I wanted to give you a bit of specific feedback, and commend Jack Dixon and his gang for the way in which they have carried out their works. They have, at all times, kept a very neat and tidy site area and the quality of the installations is very good. They have ensured that any surplus mess/rubbish has been cleared daily and ensured that disruption to local residents has been minimised as far as is practicable.
When I approached Jack to ask about the progress and duration of the works, he was courteous, informative and reassuring. He is a credit to R&W, and the culture that you have as an organisation In my role at UHD (and in previous commercial roles for larger contractors), I have met numerous civil engineering contractors, and sadly not all of them conduct themselves in the excellent way that R&W have.
