Following our annual Highways Excellence Lean Maturity Assessment (HELMA) undertaken by National Highways and moderated by Bourton Group, we are absolutely delighted to share that we have achieved an the overall score of 3.2 out of 4. This is an increase of 2% on our 2022 score.
This assessment demonstrates how Lean principles and techniques are embedded in our organisation. With the scoring ranging from 0 – 4, our achievement of 3.2 overall validates our commitment to delivering value for money for our customers and end users, and ensuring our workforce are only doing the things that truly add value annual assessment of our Lean Maturity within our business.
We know Lean is good for business, which is why we invest in building our knowledge, and continuously strive to embed lean thinking into our DNA, through eliminating all forms of wastes to achieve better results and drive efficiencies. Our Lean journey will progress and we will continue to harness the collaborative effort of our supply chain and workforce members, to enable growth of the collective Lean Maturity.
