Congestion relief works designed and delivered within four months
Congratulations to our Rail Services team for safely and successfully delivering several emergency activities at London Bridge Station to help ease congestion at the busy station, all works were designed and installed within just four months.
Over several possessions the team installed keep clear yellow hatchings in key congestion areas across the station, removed and relocated benches in some areas, installed 36 Tensar barriers at the entrance, staircases and escalators leading up to platform level. Also, designed and installed replacement brackets to facilitate the relocation of Customer Information Screens and installed power and data cables to gateline posts to facilitate the new Information System Screens on the lower concourse.
Only due to excellent collaboration with our supply chain we could design and deliver civils and electrical elements to programme for our customer, despite minimal access opportunities and a short delivery timeframe.
